You don't know me and you have convinced me of nothing. I have downloaded songs from a variety of sources. Some of the music is freely shared by artists who don't subscribe to the traditional distribution mechanisms. Not only that, I reuse some of this music to my own purposes and to make music of my own. The point is, if you had your way, there would be no mechanism for file sharing and that I cannot abide. If we can get back to the point, file sharing has value, just as the internet has value. Or would you argue that the media has the right to profit from printed copies of its articles?
