At this writing I don't know whether the Pope has passed or not. He is someone that I have admired very much even though I am Episcopal.

This Pope has given so much to Christianity - not just the Catholic Church, but to all Christians and this world will be a sadder place for his going. He hasn't been just the Catholic Pope but a leader of Christians everywhere.

The person that becomes the next Pope will have very big shoes to fill. I pray that he will be able to carry forth the work of Pope Paul.

People fail to realize that as Western Christians, our faith is descended from that first church which we have come to know as the Holy Catholic Church and that no matter what we call ourselves, whether Lutheran, Episcopal, Baptist, Pentecostal, we are all children of Christ - all followers of the man that was deemed the Rock - St. Peter.

May GOD bless the Pope and ease his way into heaven to continue in his worship and praise of GOD, the Father, GOD, the Holy Ghost and GOD, the Son - Jesus Christ. Amen.
