I'm not worried about Mahony being selected. I regret he'll have any input at all.
I feel likewise, concerning ALL the liberal cardinals. Take comfort, however, in the fact that the Holy Spirit will make His choice known. Remember that it's His show, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
BTW, I may be wrong (probably am), but my pick for the last few years has been Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn.
