To: OH Swing Voter
I don't see how anyone could be a conservative and not value life. To me that is part of the definition of a conservative.

' In all fairness, Terri has been in a vegitated state for 15 years. Under those extreme cases there may be some differences of opinion. There is no way of knowing what Terri could or could not feel or know. There is rational arguements on both sides.

I would ask that on this thread we try to talk about the things that bind us. Divisions will always divide and never end up anything good.

I agree with that, however, what I think outrages many people (including me) is that the situation was handled in a one-sided manner. There were some very serious questions that did not get a hearing so it seems that "the fix was in." It is a very serious situation when life or death decisions are handled in such a subjective manner. Rather than clarifying the issue of what is or is not acceptable in a civilized society it seems like the line has been blurred even more and that is dangerous.
