Because there are a lot of different views on FR; we're not all either far right or mushy middle, but we're all Freepers.

Thanks for the history lesson, but do you have something, I dunno, what's the word I'm looking for...oh, yeah, how about something RECENT that you can quote for us?
I mean, come on. Yes, you appear to have all the symptoms of a Theocratical Conservative. Congratulations, here's your sign.

I see your general point and I agree with you. However as you know some so called freepers and conservatives are fine with voting for Hillary Clinton because she just mentioned she is going to do something about the illegal immigration issue.
Do you think that these are real freepers?
To: Howlin
Been watching Laurel and Hardy movies on TCM, and just had to see what you were doing.
To: jveritas
Hell, they're not even real conservatives...........LOL.

I have had my most heated moments (boy, is that an understatement) with FReepers I know face-to-face.
Today, I trust them with my life.

I regard your two cents as being as important as any other two cents in the known universe.
If FR sleuths determined that you were posting from an UNknown universe, I would still regard those cents as important.
The POST is the thing.
Not where it came from.

I guess you think Old Dead White Men (even the ones who actually wrote the Constitution and signed the Declaration of Indpendence) are irrelevant?
Is this recent enough for you? (I don't know the date of their famed history books, but it should be mid 20th century.)
Will and Ariel Durant
"Does history warrant the conclusion that religion is necessary to morality -- that a natural ethic is too weak to withstand the savagery that lurks under civilization and emerges in our dreams, crimes, and wars? ... There is no significant example in history, before our time, of a society successfully maintaining moral life without the aid of religion."
