Wow...we find ourselves on the same side of an issue.

Overnight, the forum which has historically derided the left for wanting to govern according to how the "feel" about things, and has demanded the impeachment of Judges who adjudicate based on how they "feel" about a law, rather than on what the law says, is all in an uproar because they "feel" that the law was wrong, and that the Judge should have based his findings on things other than the law

Well, it's a bad law, but that's not for the Judge to decide, and not for a Court to ignore because they don't "like" it.

And now, we find ourselves comfortably cruising through that weird Clinton universe where polls mean more than laws.

And we seem to "like" it.

not quite. Greer should be impeached for not understanding (or admitting) what 'clear and convincing evidence' is.

Luis,

Judge Greer did NOT follow the law, he made the law.

I guess you weren't paying attention to the threads which cited Florida statutes.

Florida statutes forbid the denial of food and water to disabled persons.

Judge Greer forbade the provision of food or water to Terri Schiavo. Sherriff's deputies stood by her bed to see that no one violated the order by giving her an ice chip or sip of water.

Judge Greer is exactly the kind of judge who adjudicates based on how he feels, and not on the basis of law, or fact. Judge Greer should be impeached and charged with murder.

No, the Judge should have based his findings on the law (however much I may have problems with that law). But even the bad law requires "clear and convincing" evidence that she wanted to be killed, not flimsy and conveniently-recently-remembered evidence.

And now, we find ourselves comfortably cruising through that weird Clinton universe where polls mean more than laws.

Who's saying "polls mean more than laws"? Nice straw man. I think people are just saying "gee it's a relief if people really feel this way". Got a problem w/that?

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. [multiple times....]

Wow! Stellar argument.

The Florida State Constitution guarantees people the right to refuse medical treatment.

Food is not "medical treatment" and Terri Schiavo never "refused" anything.

Had it been God's will that she live, she'd be alive today.

Michael Schiavo is your god?
