This is a real poll, instead of the slanted poll the MSM was doing.

"If a disabled person is not terminally ill, not in a coma, and not being kept alive on life support, and they have no written directive, should or should they not be denied food and water," the poll asked.

A whopping 79 percent said the patient should not have food and water taken away while just 9 percent said yes."

Most of the MSM was careful to make sure people do NOT understand the situation and the facts of the case.

I have yet to hear an acquaintence express support for what happened to Terri. I have heard people express disapproval.

I never believed for one minute that the American people are as evil as the media made them out to be.

We did learn, however, how evil the media is.

You are exactly right!

And .. the stat that I find interesting is the 39% who disagreed there should be exceptions to the right of a spouse to act as a guardian for an incapacitated spouse.

The reason I thought it was interesting is that the 37-39% is approx the size of the HATE-BUSH crowd.

Zogby's questions were even more slanted than the MSM.

Well, well, well, so maybe that drop in approval of the Bush Brothers wasn't just the cost of gasoline. Maybe there's hope for America.

Most of the MSM was careful to make sure people do NOT understand the situation and the facts of the case.

I can't begin to count the number of times I have yelled at the radio for saying that the case was about removing life support from a brain-dead woman. As if a brain-dead person could be maintained in a state resembling life for more than a few weeks before the body deteriorates beyond the ability of any technology to keep it going.

This proves that the media is the message.

The more the public knows about the facts of the Schiavo case, the more support appears for the parents' case. This was a tragic miscarriage of justice and the media is culprit in the disinformation that they disseminated.

Unquestionably fairer questions.

When I first saw the questions in the ABC poll, I thought April Fools Day came a week early for them -- and didn't think anybody could take them seriously. But in the subsequent week, every major mainstream media source quoted them as though they couldn't tell the difference between obviously flawed questioning and legitimate ones. At that point, I knew the end was imminent for them. They honestly can't tell any meaningful difference anymore -- even if they tried to. It's over for them, kaput, brain-dead, hopeless, pull the plug, finito.

"If a disabled person is not terminally ill, not in a coma, and not being kept alive on life support, and they have no written directive, should or should they not be denied food and water," the poll asked.

And exactly how does this description in any way resemble Terri Schivao? Her problem wasnt that she was disabled. She was not conscious. She was in persistant vegetative state. Seems like Zogby sees the right fighting within itself and decided to jump in and stir the pot.

well, this is Zogby...I'll still take it with a grain of salt.

Still, most Americans believe Terri was on extraordinary life support based on the false media portrayal of her condition. Had they known the facts opinions would likely have been different.

Like the poll, but won't trust Zogby's political polls at all anymore. He's a failure at doing polls and kept predicting the whole Presidential race wrong.

The way I look at it- if someone wants to kill me I don't want to be starved. I mean sh!+, I get hungry every couple of hours. So I prefer a .45 to the head when being murdered than a 2 week drawn out murder pack by a bunch of socialist. But then, what do we expect from socialist? Life? Never happened in the past, won't happen in the future. This is an example of choice- between the qualities of a Republic and the malign at nature of communism.

Someone contact Dick Morris! Who do you think the real political winners and losers are NOW, Dick?

And, when this issue is debated that evidence comes out that Terri was actually responsive and not PVS and the motives her ass of a husband had to kill her, the poll numbers are going to be even more against this judicial homicide.

There will be hell to be paid for this and George Greer and the nine RINOs in the Florida state senate need to be starved out of jobs.

The MSM STILL believe they have opinion-forming polls to form public opinion? Good!

Everybody I know thinks the government ordered the death of a disabled woman. Basic stuff a 7-year-old can understand.

When I first read the ABC poll I knew the results would be unreliable. The questions were based on lies. But I figured the country was going to hell in a handbasket anyway, and it might be true that the culture of death had permeated throughout all levels of society.

Every real normal person I spoke to about this thought that denying food and water to Terri and starving her to death was murder. Not a single person would admit to wanting to die like that.
