I think it's the other way around, isn't it? That is, zero legal immigration first, then establish firm control of the borders by whatever means is necessary. After the flood of illegal aliens has been halted once and for all, and verified, then carefully consider a completely revised legal immigration program which admits a reasonable, controllable, but probably reduced number of legal immigrants.

That, and only that, is acceptable to me.

The problem with legal immigration is where to start and to take the political correctness out of it and use it as intended.

Additionally, at least 300-400K per year come here LEGALLY on airplanes primarily from the second and third worlds on tourist visas for 90 days and then just stay and go into the migra underground (or not).

That is another issue no one addresses hardly.
