Ben, what, in your opinion, needs to be "fixed" concerning the H2A and H2B visas?

I don't have any personal experience so all I can tell you is what I have read.

Notice from the guide that these are quite old visas. Like any govt regulation, they get amended, changed, and added on to thru the years. I read that the H2A was 300 pages long compared to the newer tech worker visa that is one page long.

Since the dems controlled Congress thru most of these years, they were able to add in things that were favorable to their constituents such as unions and lawyers.

I suspect that the H2B is not as bad as the H2A but the simpler, the more participation.

They also need take into account the need for more of a continuous employment as opposed to seasonal.

There is also an issue of worker mobility between jobs.

And of course, there needs to be huge increases in the quotas.
