Darwin Centrial is accepting this proof. They're closing up shop. Biologists the world over are giving up their life's work and looking for honest jobs.
"The game's over," said one. "It was good while it lasted."

Interesting. It doesn't appear creationist thinking has progressed much in the intervening 80 years.

How silly.
We all know man has been devolving, not evolving.

That's ok, these aren't typically debate threads just instruments of supercilious ridicule.

And if the earth is 8,302,210 years old, as Lord Kelvin computes, then at the same rate, it must have been worn down an average of 1660 feet--38% more than remains. This guy must not know that the Earth is a sphere. If a mountain is eroded down in the northern hemisphere, the dirt accumulates in the southern hemisphere; eventually, the accumulated weight will cause the Earth to flip its poles (proven by the reversal of magnetic lines on the ocean floor.)

Everyone be nice. Why? You're just encouraging them. Of course, just by posting this reply I'm probably inviting a shovel-full of responses from the flat-earthers wanting to save my soul.
Ah well!

My 10 year old son came home from school the other day telling me about some silly little kids who think they came from an ape. That is a silly belief. Each individual human is descended from other humans. Homo sapiens as a species, however, are descended from apes (and are still a species of ape).

. Although 2700 books have been written, pro and con, upon Einstein's theory, yet he says only 12 men understand it, and a scientist retorts that Einstein can not be one of the 12.I would guess that that scientist would have been Einstein himself.

The article itself travels backwards in time. I begins in 1925 and ends in 1899.

Your comment is interesting. I believe you are attempting to make a derogatory statement here but may have hit on a point that is a positive on the side of those who actually believe the Bible.
Creationists have been relatively consistent in their belief that God created all things - including man. This belief requires faith in that same God. Very consistent logic whether you agree with it or not.
Darwinists/Macro-evolutionists have been anything but consistent in their theories. Obviously science does require rethinking ones theories and hypotheses but it should not include accepting conflicting ones at the same time. This happens frequently within the "scientific" community. Basing the study of biology and other sciences on the findings and assertions of men who run the gamut; from geniuses to anti-religious activists to con artists to frauds . . . now THAT requires faith! A faith in fallible men with questionable methods, ethics, intentions, conclusions, and motives.
I can't trust humans not to justify starving to death a woman based on hearsay testimony of a dishonorable spouse . . . and you want me to believe Darwin and his ilk? You are nuts!

It's hard to be nice when this website has soooooo much misinformation. It looks like it was written based on 19th century science. The were quoting HG Wells for crying out loud! But I guess it's typical creationism that cannot accept that scientific knowledge evolves, too.

Biometrists find that there is a Law of Filial Regression, or a tendency to the normal in every species, checking the accumulation of departures from the average, and forbidding the formation of new species by inheritance of peculiarities. Et Infra:
The tendency is to revert to the normal in body and mind.
This "law of regression" is a mathematical artifact. It does not hold if the means of the inputs are not centered. In the usual case, it's equivalent to noting that the cosine of any angle is less than 1 in magnitude. However, since the article is a mathematical proof, we can assume the author didn't know this.
Fun article; almost as wertfrei as Meyer's.

It also (in an appendix to a 1928 article) mentions 1953; unless the appendix were added later.
