Hey, former company grade officer, if you can holster your reproductive appendage for a moment, you need to understand that the Army does not have a sufficient number of males to fill its CSS needs

Field grade but I was company grade also. My reproductive appendages are quite under control. It's the disgusting double standard of physical expectations that's the issue. It also hampers the mission and gets people killed.

Try reading, I never said get rid of females, I said keep them to the male standard. Those who pass get in, others can go to the Navy or Airforce.

You have not addressed the problem of filling the support units.

Your tank company is engaged with an OPFOR unit of comparable size and firepower. After much maneuvering and shooting, one of your more active platoons reports a near depletion of its basic load of ammo and fuel. You quickly contact the the Forward Support Company and ask what the hell the problem is. The response is: Sorry for the delay. We are only at 65% of our MTOE because we do not have enough male personnel. [If only those girls had been able to do two more push ups, we would be at full strength]

And your solution is to have that platoon disengage. If you have not killed enough of their tanks, you would find yourself at a distinct disadvantage unless, ironically, a couple of gals in gunships came in to save your bacon. :-)

With the Army transformation into UA's, it is a whole different ball game than the one you experienced. You have to fight with the Army you have and not with the one you would like. [Almost plagiarized the SECDEF ;-)]
