I agree. But it always is more complicated. But the sight of that mother with her daughter smiling at her just gets burned in one's brain. This did not have to end this way, it really didn't.

What are you tying to say? That Mr. Schindler had his own agenda? Even if we assume that both sides wanted Terri's settlement money, (a heinous lie), all we had to do was let the Schindler family have one year to care for Terri. Give them the money to care for her, let them get tests, treatment, etc, before pulling the plug.

If Michael had just divorced and thereby given guardianship to the Schindlers when he went on with his new life, nobody would have even known his name. I will always believe that he stayed in at first for the money and then after that it became hatred and spite toward the parents. In the end, it was all about hurting them...not loving Terri.
