Most in this country are like a frog placed in cold water before the heat is turned gradually up. We are boiling to death and don't even know it. This whole thing is beyond belief....the majority polled think this was despicable murder was merciful. "Pro-choice" (murder in my book) has conditioned us to the concept of convenient death and this murder of Terri is just an extension of that thinking. The monster attorney says dying of thirst is "beautiful, dignified" He'd have done well in Nazi Germany. We're in big big trouble as a society.

We are boiling to death and don't even know it.

Although I still hold well placed confidence in humankind, your words are well placed and are food for thought.

Now in Europe they are actually discussing the lack of suffering of a fully born baby and in certain cases when it is determined by "specialists" that their life may not be long or fruitful, euthanasia should be a consideration for the baby's best interests of course. After all, it would be painless.....

Point being, you KNOW what this Terri Shiavo debacle is going to lead to.

It's not going to help the respect for human life to prosper that's for sure.

And to think terrorists, murderers, and pedophiles, and for all that matters, whales, chipmunks, and the like enjoy a greater concern for their well being than Terri to some!

Sorry for my going on but I am frustrated with this and can see where it could lead us.

You are absolutely right and it is scary.

Sure, people will be upset and outraged about this, but nothing will be done to prevent these types of things in the future and pretty soon the anger and outrage will fade away and be replaced by acceptance.
Then, something even more heinous will happen and people will be upset and outraged by it, but nothing will be done to prevent a similar incident in the future and pretty soon the anger and outrage will fade away and be replaced by acceptance.
Then something even worse than the previous things will happen.......

We are in alot of trouble.
