If DeLay pulls this, it'll be political suicide for Republicans. Best to let it be handled by the people of the Great State of Florida. You've got more *important* issues on your docket Tom. Get off your lazy ass and get to work!
I thought the Republicans had already committed suicide by supporting Terri? So if they are going to lose all their seats in '06 because of it, might as well make good use of the next two years right?
In point of fact I dismiss they'll pay a heavy price for this on election day but I argue the logic is flawed. A party that has already committed "suicide" has nothing to lose by doing the right thing and balancing our branches the way they should be.

No, everyone will get up and cheer. The judiciary has become to big for their britches. They no longer think they are equal. They think they are superior to the other branches.
Wrong...this is the most important issue facing our country today. Even more than terrorism. If the judicial branch can continue to get away and not bide by the constitution then we are doomed.
And the State of Florida (which isn't so great - it's a festering cesspool of incompetence) has no jurisdiction over the likes of Judge Greer who defied Congress, that has the right of perview, over a de novo order.
It's that simple.
I erred...judge Greer is a Florida judge. I meant to refer to that federal judge that balked on the de novo Congress passed.
