Yes, I think it is.
These people have demonized
the government for
a private matter
that was neither their business,
nor the government's.
This kind of mental
instability is like --
it's exactly like --
the kind of thinking
leading Muslims to commit
"righteous" terror acts.
If it is a private matter, why do they need to involve others in killing Terri? Doctors, nurses, hospice workers. And they are killing Terri under Florida law, which allows them to do so. Hardly a private family matter. It is a ridiculous argument, meant to salve a guilty conscience.
A man ordering his wife to be starved/dehydrated to death is NOT a "private matter".
And if it's not "the government's" business then I guess that Judge Greer ought to have stayed out of it altogether.
Or did you forget that judges are part of "the government"?
the kind of thinking leading Muslims to commit "righteous" terror acts.
I will condemn anyone who commits a terror act. Nice straw-man.
"a private matter"
Neither the murder of unborn children or the starving to death of an innocent person is a private matter.
How do you equate the defense of the Judeo Christian ethic for life with Muslim terrorism? Muslim Terrorists believe that Jews, any supporters of Israeli statehood, people who speak out for woman's equality and Muslims who support a secular government are enemies of Allah and deserve to die. Not only that but to kill such infidels is a matter of pride and assurance of future glory. We who defended Terri believe that every human life is worthy of dignity and a gift of God. If the killing of Terri at the bequest of her husband and sanctioned by judicial fiat is a private matter so is every other domestic crime. One of the stated and right purposes of Gov't is the protection of life.
