"but not a word about the countless thousands killed by Saddam."

You haven't paid much attention to my posts then. I'm pretty much alone here in my belief that Saddam should've been killed when he was found last year, rather than getting his 3 meals/day awaiting 'trial', for the very reason that he's a mass murderer.

That doesn't justify the slaughter of innocents that apparently doesn't bother you in the least, though. I guess you think God just ignores the suffering of non-Christian children.

Looks like you've never heard of clinical paranoia.

There's no slippery slope starting with the Schiavo case, and the feds aren't roaming the streets randomly declaring people to be in persistent vegetative states.

For crying out loud. Have a beer. Watch some basketball.

I disagree with you.

Here's the quote "The ACLU has got to take a lot of blame for this. And I know I'll hear from them for this, but throwing God...successfully with the help of the federal court system...throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools, the abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked and when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad...I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who try to secularize America...I point the thing in their face and say you helped this happen."

The quote sounds quite different from your interpretation, IMHO, I'm not sure that mine is the one that is distorted.

Although I am in favor of "An eye for an eye..."

So you are in favor of all those Old Testament Laws, too.? are you in favor of stoning adulterers Michael Schiavo, hmmm.

Many of our own laws are already based squarely upon Biblical law. Yes, some ceremonial laws have been changed (by God Himself) but that does not mean that God has changed in regard to His judgments. The New Testament talks much about his wrath (unless you want to excise that, too.).

You really have gone stark raving mad, haven't you? It is hypocrisy to deny God's role in the World when it is inconvenient to your worldview and then claim to know His Will when it helps your cause.

What about the innocent children our bombs unintentionally shred?

Thank you for including the word unintentionally. It seems an honest admission that your comparison is not entierly accurate. Now for the other half of the moral equivelence, please indulge me in a hypothetical:

On his way to work, Bob decides to stop for donuts. Thus an aggresive tailgater, Jack, was finally able to recklessly speed on down the street -- with the timing neccesary to run over and kill a three year old girl.

Neither Bob nor Jack intended to cause the death of the little girl. However the collective actions of both did in fact cause her death.

Morally, I think we would all agree Bob is blameless, and Jack is at least partially guilty of her death.

The question is why? What makes the distinction other then intent?

the slaughter of innocents The reason I called you a liberal is because you are believing the liberal lies about the number killed. How many innocent Germans, French, Filipinos, etc were killed in WWII? What does this have to do with Terri Schiavo?

Today we're going to learn about satire. Can you spell satire?

I very clearly stated ONE law, not 'all'. Your reading comprehension is almost as poor as your ability to jump to conclusions.

What did He say about "if you give drink to the thirsty, and food to the hungry, you do it to Me."

Exactly. Thanks for posting the verse.

All of the out of context scripture-quoting by non-believers is getting old. But I do understand that even Satan quotes scripture to serve his own ends.

I don't think I hurled any personal invectives - calling anybody a Nazi.

I don't think of this as satire. This is very real.

THERE IS ONLY ONE REASONABLE CONCLUSION:

SS-Obersturmbannfuehrer
Adolf Eichmann

Nazi bureaucrat
Author of the Final Solution

Pinellas County District
Judgenfuhrer George Greer

American bureaucrat
"Author" of 'THERESA MARIE SCHINDLER SCHIAVO, incapacitated ex rel, Robert Schindler and Mary Schindler, her parents and next friends, versus MICHAEL SCHIAVO, as guardian of the person of Theresa Marie Schindler Schiavo, incapacitated, JUDGE GEORGE W. GREER, THE HOSPICE OF THE FLORIDA SUNCOAST, INC. leading to slow death by dehydration and starvation of a human being, in the Greer-Way

Their Common Legacy:

Torture, Starvation and
Death

It must have been important to say twice.

'Thou shall not murder'

Exd 20:13

'Thou shall not murder'

Deu 5:17

TerriRepublic has gone way beyond "just throwing around" the Nazi charge. It has progressed to exhaustive efforts to justify the Nazi charge and demonstrate how it is appropriately applied to anyone who isn't on board with Larry Klayman and Jesse Jackson with regard to this case...

Does this apply to all who are not on board with you?

Even if we stipulate that "TerriRepublic" is nothing more then the rabid mob bigotry you imply, what useful purpose is served other then an emotional validation of your arguments based on an ad homonym fallacy?

I certainly don't believe the conservative lies that noone is being killed.

They aren't lies, btw. Ask the thousands of orphaned children where their parents are...or ask the thousands of grieving parents why their children were shredded by cluster bombs.

Hell, just visit some foster homes/orphanages in this country to see real neglect that continues while self-righteous people like yourself wring your hands over the death of Terri.

No.

And the irony of you calling it a "fallacy" on this thread is simply more than I can bear...

What's funny (to me, anyways) is that in a recent newspaper interview, Judge Greer proclaimed to be a 'conservative Christian'.

You can't make up irony like that.

Grass, you just advocated the deaths of Americans. No, I advocate that we repent for our tolerance (and for some of you, your advocacy) of the murder of innocent people). It is no more advocacy of death than those who warn people to stay off a rickety old bridge. This is the bridge we are embarking on and we cross it at our own peril. conform to your NARROW view I would rather be narrow-minded than wrong.
