You're defending homicide by the state. No. I am trying to point your anger in the proper direction. The courts are not the problem, the law is the problem. Judges do not change laws, legislatures do, and if Terri Schiavo was cognitive in some sense, then the Florida legislature has failed her, not the courts.

If the Florida leg. wanted to write a law that says that food and water can only be withdrawn if a patient expresses it to ten different witnesses via carved stone tablets, then they certainly have the power to do so. Wrong. This is where you're showing the fundamental fallacy of your argument. The right to life is UNALIENABLE. Look up the definition, buddy. It means it CAN'T BE TAKEN AWAY. By anyone.
Murder by the state, the individual, and even self-murder are immoral. Every court ruling, every 'law' passed that allows it, is unconstitutional and a travesty of justice and our most fundamental law in this country.

That's only the first page, and it doesn't really say anything - where's the rest of the order?

Please. Felos is already at work on a book about this,(probably taping whole chapters in his car on the way to and from the hospice), and you'll see Michael S. on Larry King and Today, and all over tabloids. Anyone who'd spend Terri's therapy money on two new Mercedes for himself and his girlfriend (and how in his/her right mind thinks it costs $300,000 to go to nursing school?)is motivated by greed and the pursuit of riches. We will be force fed Michael Schiavo and his prettily packaged family very soon. There is no end to the evil here, and I wouldn't put it past Felos to have snapped a few pictures of Terry in the last week for his book cover or to sell to Star or The Enquirer. TV movie? Coming right up!

I saw no evidence of suffering. Her skin was intact, her hydration was adequate, her immune system was incredible, and she was kept warm and dry. Most of all, she had people around her that loved her that she responded to. It wasn't a great place to be, granted, but on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most nightmarish PVS I have seen, hers was a 2. Great post bump (much more there than quoted).

The right to life is UNALIENABLE. Look up the definition, buddy. It means it CAN'T BE TAKEN AWAY. By anyone. The law says that you can refuse that right, and under the law, that is what happened here - Terri Schiavo refused her right to life. I suggest that the law should be changed, then, by the properly constituted authorities who deal with changing the law - the Florida legislature.

Your obnoxious postings today are becoming very tiresome. You may have no mercy, but I have little tolerance for you today. Why not crawl back into your hole until tomorrow?
God bless and watch over the Schindler family.

And the Congress created a bill, signed by the President that the case be heard by the federal courts "de novo." And the result of that was?

No. I am trying to point your anger in the proper direction. My anger is placed perfectly, thanks.
It's against judges who think they're God, legislators who ignore the basic law of the land, our constitutions, Executives who don't execute on their sworn duty to uphold the constitution and defend the lives of their citizens, and currently, against people like you who defend the moral murkiness that is exactly what got us to this point in the first place.

Okay, well, I guess we'll just disagree. I would suggest, however, that the fact that Terri Schiavo is, in fact, dead, would seem to indicate that I am correct in that the law is broken, and must be fixed, or we'll simply see the same thing happen when this situation arises again.

Due process, my *ss.
There can be no due process for a person who is done to death while never having been charged with a crime.
Your butt-covering for the political and legal establishment is obscene.
