I read one time that Kavorkian liked to look into the eyes of the dying people he 'helped'. From what Felos has written, you can gather he wouldn't think that odd or macabre.

Kind of a fascinated repulsion because they don't understand death and they fear what they don't understand. So they stare at it and try to get inside it as far as they can without actually getting hurt themselves.

Personally, I think Felos gets off on it. I think he loves death; read some of his book.
