Israel is the shining beacon of civilisation in an otherwise largely barbaric region. It deserves the support of its brother states in the West. There are obviously going to be tensions, disagreements and accidents in the lives of two nations relations with each other - I could bring up how many friendly fire accidents have occured in which Americans killed British troops, yet we're still allies, because our shared values and the overall value of the alliance is more important.
