If she becomes a Tancredo, that could turn the tide in her favor, big time.Actions speak louder than words. And, that's all she is...words.

It's more more likely for a third-party hard-core social or religious conservative to split the vote in Clinton's favor in 2008.
To: Strategerist
That is possible as well. Especially if a RINO gets the Republican nod.

Even without one getting the nod. Depends a lot on the definition of "RINO"; the general FR definition of one is a crock of BS, though (Anyone who doesn't precisely toe to every single fundivangelist social con demand) and seems to have absolutely nothing to do with taxes or spending issues.

2nd Amendment support. That is the main point for me.

But, I have to wonder, which states that voted for Bush in 2004 are going to switch and vote for Hillary in '08? Florida, Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico, and Nevada are good candidates. It is Hillary's election to lose. She won't be running against an incumbent; she will have lots of money and a top of the line political organization, which will get record minority turnout; she will have the best name recognition of any candidate; and she will be the darling of the MSM.

If the Republicans don't do anything in the next two years about illegal immigration, Hillary is a slam-dunk, done deal in 2008. Look for her old man to become Secretary General of the U.N. I don't think I'm "worst-casing" here; it becomes a more viable possibility every day. Are you listening Republicans?

Hillary will be near impossible to beatNot a chance in hell, IMHO. Middle America won't buy it, for one thing. She's a socialist and the world knows it.
Having said that, anything is possible. I just pray you're wrong.

She will be tougher to beat than some think. She appears to be - as Peggy says - more politically adept and able to learn than most of us thought. And people have short memories.
On the other hand, the "Broken Glass Republicans" who turned out to end 8 years of Clinton-Gore will become "Blast Furnace Republicans" if Hillary gets the nod.

Not even Peggy Noonan is able to prop up Humpty Hillary by writing about her.
Run Hillary Run!

On the other hand, the "Broken Glass Republicans" who turned out to end 8 years of Clinton-Gore will become "Blast Furnace Republicans" if Hillary gets the nod. Al Gore won the popular vote and came within several hundred votes in Florida from being elected. Hillary will mobilize the Dem base, particularly minorities, more than any other Dem candidate in recent memory, including her husband. Also, look for more voter fraud. This will be the Dem Party's last stand. If they can't win this one, the party will have to transform itself or splinter into oblivion.

I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. That shoe being a major terror attack in which it is proven that the terrorists crossed the southern border illegaly. The libs and the lamestream media will cry out its Bush's fault and that will be enough to sway the voters. Throw in the third party conservative who will split rep votes. You can bet hillary and her handler, satan remember Ross Perot.
