Florida, Ohio, Iowa, New Mexico, and Nevada are good candidates. It is Hillary's election to lose. She won't be running against an incumbent; she will have lots of money and a top of the line political organization, which will get record minority turnout; she will have the best name recognition of any candidate; and she will be the darling of the MSM.

If the Republicans don't do anything in the next two years about illegal immigration, Hillary is a slam-dunk, done deal in 2008. Look for her old man to become Secretary General of the U.N. She will be tougher to beat than some think. She appears to be - as Peggy says - more politically adept and able to learn than most of us thought. And people have short memories.

On the other hand, the "Broken Glass Republicans" who turned out to end 8 years of Clinton-Gore will become "Blast Furnace Republicans" if Hillary gets the nod.

On the other hand, the "Broken Glass Republicans" who turned out to end 8 years of Clinton-Gore will become "Blast Furnace Republicans" if Hillary gets the nod.

Al Gore won the popular vote and came within several hundred votes in Florida from being elected. Hillary will mobilize the Dem base, particularly minorities, more than any other Dem candidate in recent memory, including her husband. Also, look for more voter fraud. This will be the Dem Party's last stand. If they can't win this one, the party will have to transform itself or splinter into oblivion.

I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. That shoe being a major terror attack in which it is proven that the terrorists crossed the southern border illegaly. The libs and the lamestream media will cry out its Bush's fault and that will be enough to sway the voters. Throw in the third party conservative who will split rep votes.
