Yes, I noticed that comment. Sadly, he's probably right.

I'm going to make a prediction here: Soon, the pro-death ones will be "taking the moral high ground" by saying that those of us who oppose this thing are the ones responsible for Terri's suffering because our "silly and outdated morality" prevented them from just giving Ms. Schiavo a lethal injection.

The CBC here in Canada has already started the ball rolling by showing a piece that was blatantly mocking and making fun of those Christians who had the guts to rally around Terri in front of the hospital.

Me too, without my faith, I would be in the gutter, or worse.

I think the story may have been on Paul Harvey.

From the Forward of The Passion (the book of photographs from the movie) regarding why he made the movie: "...had its genesis during a time in which I found myself trapped with feelings of terrible, isolated emptiness. Because I was brought up to be a good Christian and a good Catholic, the only effective resource for me was prayer. I asked God for His help."

"How blest are those who show mercy; mercy shall be shown to them." Matthew - 5:7

My parents reminded me of Shakespeare's play, "The Merchant of Venice", and Shylock's pound of flesh. One can only hope the perpetrators get caught up by their own laws and may they receive just as much mercy and justice as Terri did.
