This is not murder. If someone is applying CPR to an individual, and after 15 years it is apparent that it is not working, is admitting failure and stopping the CPR murder? Terri is dying from her original injury. There are affidavits stating that Terri could take food and water by mouth. It is legally forbidden to kill someone by denying them oral food and hydration if they are able to accept it. Judge Greer has forbidden any efforts to feed Terri by mouth in spite of (or because of) the affidavits that she could take food in such fashion.
