Especially since the original injustice was rendered, and then perpetuated, by the Judiciary. There is no way the District court or Supremes will extend Terri's life now, especially if a possible outcome would be proving their original decisions to have been erroneous.
This is judicial tyranny, followed by judicial CYA. Now that they have been given this win, we'll be seeing worse down the road.
The fact that this woman is dying is sad and the end of a tragedy. I think the comparing of the Judge in this case to a Nazi, only makes things worse. I feel the only reason we have to wait for her to expire is so that no one has to actually push the button. Difficult decisions and situations and I doubt any one is acting from malice or ill will.

A judge has ordered that a mother and father can't feed their child. Think about that for a minute.

That's not so. She wasn't terminal. She wasn't dying. She was living. Now she is being put to death by starvation just like any newborn babe would die if you didn't feed him.
If I have any of the facts wrong, not the spin, I would be glad to know. With this story it is difficult not to get swept up with emotions, and react emotionally calling the judge a Nazi, etc.
