Oh, for Pete's sakeActually, Civil War era artillery shells are more dangerous than modern ones. The explosives used before WWI are quite unstable and get worse as time goes by. This shell may have been rendered inert but there was no way for the teacher to know that. If my kid were in the class, I would want it evacuated.
