New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is warning contributors that "the right-wing attack machine" is preparing to "'bloody' me up" with a series of ads reminiscent of last year's Swift Boat campaign against John Kerry.
"You won't be surprised to learn that Republicans have named me their "'#1 target' in 2006," she says in a mass e-mail this week.
"The right-wing attack machine is already warning that they will use the same smear tactics against me that they have used against other Democrats who stand in their way.
"One right-wing strategist boasts that his 'Swift-boat' type ads will 'bloody' me up," she notes.
The impending Republican assault, says Clinton, makes it imperative that she raise as much campaign cash as possible - asap.
She noted that the FEC reporting deadline for the first quarter of the year is tomorrow night, and that Republicans will be watching to gauge "the intensity and depth of our support."
"You and I will never give in to their bullying tactics," Clinton declared. "We need to send them an unmistakable message."
If she's able to fight off Republican attacks, Clinton pledges that in her second term she'll push for the right of felons to vote and resume her crusade for health care reform.
Can the cookie baking be far behind?
"Good news: Hillary Clinton is coming to New York to be our senator. They're saying now that she bought a house in Westchester. . . . It must have been very traumatic emotionally, because buying a house -- this is probably the first legal real estate deal she's been involved with." -- David Letterman, CBS "Late Show" 6/30/99
That's a GOOD one. Thanks. I'll spread that one around.
Good one. Thanks beyond the sea.
"Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that [Hillary Clinton]...is a congenital liar."-- William Safire
"He said congenital."
Hillary's first night as President YEAR 2008 (God Help us)
Hillary Clinton gets elected President and is spending her first night in the White House. She has waited so long.....
The ghost of George Washington appears, and Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
President Washington says, "Never tell a lie."
"Ouch!" Says Hillary, "I don't know about that."
The next night, the ghost of Thomas Jefferson appears... Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Jefferson says, "Listen to the people."
"Ohhh! I really don't want to do that."
On the third night, the ghost of Abe Lincoln appears... Hillary says,
"How can I best serv e my country?"
Lincoln says, "Go to the theater."
?
"Hillary said that when she first set eyes on Bill Clinton back in college he had a beard and he reminded her of a Viking, which is perfect because she reminded him of Iceland.
No wonder Slick married her. Her mouth is always open.... She's a swallow(er) from Capistrono.
Sorry, it was my lame attempt to do a Beavis & Butthead joke, but I've never watched the show, so I failed.
I'm not a Republican but suppose I have aligned myself with the "right wing attack machine".
I will reassure Hillary she is not my first, second, third or further numerical target. She doesn't even register.
Right now my number one target is the Judiciary that has just jumped ahead of the MSM narrowly. I will not be bothered involving myself in an "attack" against someone that is likely to win easily. If the Reps decide to wage a real fight for that Senate seat with a candidate that can win, I may change my mind. I'm just not interested in slinging mud for the sake of slinging mud. It'll end up backfiring making her a stronger player.
hhhhhhhmmmmmmm
Shrillery in an apron is like
--satan in white angel wings.
--SKERRY in an American flag.
--SCUBA TEDDY in a skirt at a temperance meeting.
--PELOUSEY wearing a right-to-life T-Shirt.
--CNN broadcasting something true, by mistake, of course.
--. . .
She's a Machiavellian, marxist, tyrannical traitorous globalist intent on destroying our nation.
That's more than plenty for me.
One that involves a little trip to Ft. Marcy Park?
;-)
GOOD ONE! LOL.
