he should have never held the press conference and performed his duties as governor. Typical coward politician looking for a way to have someone tell him not to do something/get involved.
He was question as the Press Conference on whether he would act ... and basically fumbled around and look cluelessly around to his legal aid to help him answer the question.

And I'm mainly an economic conservative. He obviously doesn't believe in the equal branches of government and separation of powers.

I think they want him to do what Clinton did - ignore the courts, and go in with search warrants and "jack booted thugs," and take her out of there by force of arms.
I don't like what's happening either - but I didn't like what Clinton/Reno did with the Elian case either.
It's too late for Jeb Bush to do anything now. As governor of the State of Florida, Jeb Bush failed to prevent the court-ordered starvation of a young, innocent, disabled woman. I think this eventual outcome says all I need to know about his ability to function as a chief executive.
