Lemoine was court-martialed in Germany for refusing orders, as he sought to leave the Army. Following his service in Iraq, he would reportedly just sit at a desk near the commander's office and refuse to do any work.
'Splain to Thag how this (malingering) is caused by his "religion"? Thag don't understand.....

Is there some sort of contest going on here to
make all posts lead to Terri Schiavo?

Is there some sort of contest going on here to make all posts lead to Terri Schiavo? Not at all yet that case has established that removing feeding tubes and denying someone food and water is not cruel and unusual punishment under the United States Constitution.
I am simply trying to help obese people lose lots of weight very quickly.

I really think there is and it is getting old....

Aleister Crowley defined the creed of modern paganism: Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
Therefore, he could only exercise his religion freely by disobeying orders; requiring him to obey orders would have prevented him from "doing what thou wilt", and thus be a clear infringement of his religious freedom.
Coming soon from an ACLU lawyer to a courtroom near you....

Good then. For this POS: "A firing squad shall execute you. Thou wilt die."

Nice job exhibiting total ignorance of the legal issues in this case. Oh, so it is unconstitutional to withhold a feeding tube, food, and water from every American citizen ? ...
To: af_vet_1981
Look, there are plenty of threads here for you to discuss the Schiavo case, this issue is wholly unrelated...

I am simply trying to help obese people lose lots of weight very quickly. Trying to lose weight quickly is what killed Terri Schiavo in 1990.
To: af_vet_1981
Oh, so it is unconstitutional to withhold a feeding tube, food, and water from every American citizen ? ... If the government was doing it as punishment in a criminal matter? Probably.
That is not the case here. The TS case is about a legal guardian, in a civil case, fulfilling the wishes of a person in a PVS.

If the government was doing it as punishment in a criminal matter? Probably. That is not the case here. Someone you no longer love can starve you to death and a score of judges and the unwashed masses will cheer and give you the arena's thumbs down. It will all be legal and constitutional of course. If you had committed a pedophile rape and murder in the same state you will receive years of three square meals and a cot.
You are so wise and just. We commoners stand in awe of your intellect and morality.

Trying to lose weight quickly is what killed Terri Schiavo in 1990. If she died in 1990 why are they killing her again in 2005 ?
To: WBurgVACon
Look, there are plenty of threads here for you to discuss the Schiavo case, this issue is wholly unrelated... Then why are you bringing it up ?
I was simply commenting on the current treasonous and seditious perp who should have his feeding tube, food, and water denied.
Are you here to defend the perp ?
To: Modernman
or rather, the guardian fufilling his own wishes.
To: af_vet_1981
You are so wise and just. We commoners stand in awe of your intellect and morality. (Sigh) I can't wait for this whole TS thing to be over so some semblance of sanity can return to FR.
