I don't know. I live in Texas and have only been to Boston once and never been to RI.
If he did, its really unlikely, he scored bad against Chaffee.
The little punk is basically living on his name, and they don't hate the name Kennedy over there, though they don't know much about him.
If he quit because of polling, then he is even dumber then all the stupidity he has committed over the years suggests. He should quit because, within days, he would have been buried.
Teddy is his father, not uncle, but either way, in his defence, like his dear old dad, he was drunk when he said it.
I really do wonder what his dads political career would have been like, if videocameras had been as mainstream back in the day as they are now?

The threat of Chafee switiching parties is the reason why 1st tier RATS are giving Chafee a pass. I wish Chafee would just show up to vote for the organization of the Senate and then just go off on vacation.
With a family as dysfunctional as this one you never can tell.
