It takes these moral and intellectual morons of the Western "Newsmedia" "several weeks of soul-searching and honest investigative journalism"--not to mention years of apathy, hubris, denial, and groupthink--to state the obvious.

And these so-called "journalists" wonder why the public holds them in such contempt.

The situation has become extreme. I don't know if the French can recover. It seems they have passed the point of no return. How rehabilitate a people who have subordinated their national awrareness to the extremes of self loathing? France is paralyzed with this morbid inability and aversion to being authentic to itself, because no form of nationalism I am aware of can exist there now. Maybe nationalism is their particular bogey man, but it is in fact necessary for a sovereign people. The PC extremes to which the French have put themselves is precluding a return to anything like a nationalism as is typically understood. It is a truly unwholesome situation. They have ruined themselves for their PC ideal.
