fox and AP carrying this story so far.
I hate to think it, but at this point, I wonder if putting the tube back in will be too much of a shock. I don't know if this hopsice is able to handle major emergencies

My wife is in the medical field, she tells me there is a method of restoring hydration to people like Terri. ..... Slow return, not a rush to give her hydration and food.
Prayers for Terri

I hate to think it, but at this point, I wonder if putting the tube back in will be too much of a shock. At this point in time, this will be a form of torture for her body.
Live with that knowledge, and I hope you are proud of yourself.

I don't know if this hopsice is able to handle major emergenciesHospices are equipped to handle death. She would have to be immediately transferred to a critical care unit would be my guess.
A doctor on Fox tonight said it could shock her system to start rehydration. This is out of my league, but I suppose it would have to be introduced slowly.

When Terri's feeding tube was reinserted before, they rushed her to a hospital to have the procedure done. I would think there would be a contingency plan in place for this moment.
