The feeding tube at this point is NOT important.
Start an IV, and give her Dextrose and fluids.
It's not like her bowel is just going to 'start functioning' immediately like nothing happened over the past 2 weeks....
I agree. Sorry, I got a little excited there. Getting her re-hydrated in a safe manner is probably the best bet right now.
