Believe me, you WILL miss MY TYPE in the Republican Party. We were the ones donating all the money and doing all the work. If I had a nickel for every precinct I have walked on behalf of the GOP and its candidates, I'd be rich. One time, my husband's feet literally bled from all the walking. And I have walked precincts in cold, rain and fierce heat. Never again.

It is sad that you cannot feel nor understand why I have a broken heart.

I agree. The grass roots get out the vote effort by Christian evangelicals if the reason for 2002 congressional win and the 2004 BUSH victory.

Even Rove admits it.

So they want to sneer and call people nuts now....okay fine.

We understand your broken heart, Saundra. I am devastated, and emotionally drained by grief.

But your rage toward Jeb Bush is just plain wrong. PLEASE think it through. He is NOT at fault here...........and somewhere in your heart of hearts, you know that.

You cannot believe he is an evil man, can you? (And cowardice that refuses to do what is within ones power to save a life IS evil). You have not answered my previous question. Do you really believe Jeb Bush is that despicable?

If your anger is turned towards the Republican party, all I have to say to you is adios. Yes, we will miss you but go on to where ever you feel the need to go and put your money and hard work into that party.

We have many others like me who do that same thing for the Republican party. I do not see that Jeb has done wrong here. IMHO, Jeb has done all he can do short of being arrested. What good would that do?

Your not alone in your broken heart. But by blaming Jeb or the Republican party, I just don't understand your anger?
What more could they do?????

I don’t think you should leave over this, you are, as you pointed out the heart and soul of the Party. The blue-bloods and moderates are most certainly NOT!

That being said, do you really think Governor Bush and/or President Bush are the bad guys here? Do you really think it would have been a good idea to storm the barricades of the Hospice where Terri is dying? I don’t. I even think the protestors should go away, and it is unconscionable to make protestors out of children, absolutely unconscionable!

I don’t know whether they had the power to take her by force or not because I’m no legal scholar, but they certainly tried within the realm of the judiciary to get her feeding tube reinserted. They did fail, that’s true, but not because they don’t care, but because they weren’t certain they were on good legal footing to interfere, and did not want to cause a Constitutional crisis. It’s impossible for me to take either one of them to task for this.

The one thing this situation clearly reveals though, is that the Federal Government is beholding to the Judiciary, and is as impotent as can be, as it regards intervening in a probate judge’s decision to demand a citizen of his State commence and complete the process of dying.

What we need to concentrate on is making sure that no other SINO retains the power of life and death over a spouse he or she abandoned a long time ago. Such as spouse is no type of KIN, even in the most degraded definition of that term.

You should have a broken heart because of Terri, not for any other reason.

The logic of your position on this totally escapes me, with all due respect, and your anger is really, really, really missplaced.

Direct that passion of yours constructively - to engage others, given Terri's case, about why protecting the sanctity of life is so important. Obviously, given where we find ourselves today, we haven't done a particularly effective job - that's a call to step up, not to sit down.

Please rethink your position on this - in reality, it makes little sense at all.
