Something tells me Terri Schiavo collapsed and went into this coma 15 years ago because Michael Schiavo tried to do great bodily harm to her. If she dies, everybody will be waiting for that autopsy report.

IT HAD BETTER BE A FULL AUTOPSY OF HER ENTIRE BODY WHEN IT OCCURS. ANYTHING LESS WILL BE ANOTHER SCANDAL IN THIS LONG-GOING TRAGEDY.

I agree. I am still hopeful that she will somehow be saved.

I think that a complete autopsy must be done if she is to be cremated. It's my understanding that it is Florida law that a complete autopsy must be done for any person being cremated. Also, the cremation may not take place until at least 48 hours after the time of death (I suppose this is to give time for the ME to do a complete autopsy).

Honestly, I don't think a full autopsy will show much. The Pinellas county ME is young, went to school in Texas and has no discernable ties to the Greer mafia. Healed broken ribs could be attributed to CPR. I actually have a hard time believing that Michael was serial abuser. Even the family isn't suggesting this. Just like I don't believe Terri was bulemic. There would be a history.

Now I don't doubt that there was quite a bit of verbal abuse. Michael is a self-centered control freak with no discernable social skills. I think that they know the autopsy will show nothing, that's why they relented. Terri has been so destroyed by neglect over the last decade, I don't expect very revealing findings.
