I just wonder if it'll hit Minnesota

Of course it will hit Minnesota.
It's going to come right up the St Lawrence Seaway, across the Great Lakes, and BAM, Duluth is underwater.

From that photo, my view would actually be of sand from 100 feet under it!

It's the end of the world as we know it.
And I feel fine.

"Some say that a nation that would deny a mother giving her dying daughter water deserves it.

You can count me among their number."

Don't count me among that number. That's the most idiotic comment I've ever heard. By that logic, we deserved 9/11. If the death of innocents was the determining factor for the destruction of a country, then every country would have ceased to exist long ago.

Well I for one think the UN is important and should be kept intact. Based on the information in this study, perhaps we should relocate the UN to Tibet so it would be safe.

Not if they come up with the inflatable rubber robots. They would be okay.

If the chimp was smart enough to do that, he would be smart enough not to land here.

If I recall correctly the western side of the island is the unstable part and most of the wave would head towards the Americas.

That's the most idiotic comment I've ever heard

Of course, the entire Old Testament is nonsense right

We can just go right along murdering our young, our old, blaspheming God etc.. no consequences.

Since you didn't notice my use of the word "innocent", I think that abortion and what is going on with Terry Schiavo is terrible.

Do you need the texts of holy books to determine for yourself what is right or wrong? Not all holy books are good. If that unthinking manner is how you go about things, it's a good thing you weren't born in a Muslim society.

That line of reasoning sounds vaguely familiar - now where have I heard that before. Oh ya I got it

1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any of the beasts of the earth which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman: Why hath God commanded you, that you should not eat of every tree of paradise? 2 And the woman answered him, saying: Of the fruit of the trees that are in paradise we do eat: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of paradise, God hath commanded us that we should not eat; and that we should not touch it, lest perhaps we die. 4 And the serpent said to the woman: No, you shall not die the death. 5 For God doth know that in what day soever you shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened: and you shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil.

Genesis 3

This isn't scare mongering. It has been well researched for over 15 years.

The latter does not preclude the former.
