They are hoping one walks off the floor without voting. A woman congress critter was supposed to do just that last time. But she got ticked off at some women praying outside of her office, so she voted no. Sounds like she's a real pushover...hopefully JJ got to her.
When I was in Tallahassee, the woman I think you refer to-- Senator Bullard-- got upset, saying people were speaking in tongues, praying for her to drop dead and people were holding crying babies outside of her office. She also said that she received death threats. She did go pretty ballistic, and seriously, it sounded like she changed her vote to "no" because she was P.O'ed. But she did seem, at one time, to at least be open to the idea of reattaching the tube. Until we know who JJ spoke with, I'd bet she's one of the two. If he only spoke with the Black Caucus, that might be Senator Wilson, who also seemed to have given a lot of weight to "mad at the protestors." To me, they said "The Christians are the bad guys." I hope JJ changed their minds, at least about feeding Terri.
