Jesse smell's two of his favorite things: major media attention, and a big cash sellout. Considering the number of cameras involved, it was just a matter of time before he showed up. Also, consider the book and movie deals that both sides no doubt will soon be cashing in on, and maybe a mailing list or two for him to buy (now that he's on the "right"). Steel, I agree with all that you said but this last statement was more obvious to me. In Jesse jumping in last minute, it would only lead one to believe that it really wasn't a passion for him. I think he is just doing it for political reasons. I actually laughed out loud with your response though. You wrote what I was thinking!
