Is a commando raid morally justified? Yes. Is it legal? In this case, probably. That wasn't my point. My point was to dismantle the argument: that if we private citizens won't do something, how can we expect the Governor to do something? Simple. It's his job.

It's quite debatable that it is his job. The arguments of Keyes et. al. are not airtight. But in the meanwhile, you apparently believe that private citizen action is morally justified and legally defensible. So why not? Heck, we can always start a campaign to get Jeb to pardon you.
