Why should He?
I will not accept responsibility for Terri Schiavo's death nor for a single, solitary abortion. You all can pretend to take others' sins upon yourself if you like, but I have not acceded to these crimes in the least. Those who take upon themselves the unwarranted authority to terminate innocent lives also take upon themselves their blood.
May God bless this country against the tyranny of those who love death.

We can only appeal to His mercy, as openly displayed through Jesus Christ: He died for our sins, and rose again for our justification. He is the Way, the Door, the Offering, our High Priest. In His Name we have access to the Father by faith in His substitutionary death and resurrection.
Even if America had not called down these curses upon herself, even if there were no Roe v. Wade, no Hollywood, no corruption in our government, even then we need Jesus to be our Intercessor and our entrance to the Throne of Grace.
All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name, let angels prostrate fall...
