Vatican Radio said Monday it would be difficult to ever forget the pope's pained "Urbi et Orbi" blessing and that it would "remain in the history of the church and humanity."
Pope John Paul II touches his head as he appears from his studio's window overlooking St. Peter's Square at the Vatican to deliver the Easter Sunday blessing, in this March 27, 2005 file photo. As Pope John Paul II struggles with his latest health crisis, a new image of his papacy is emerging, one based on gestures, images and video appearances. (AP Photo/Pier Paolo Cito/File)

Not to diminish the seriousness of the Pope's condition, but I couldn't help flash on this from
RAFwN:
Schiavo to Pope: Youre next, pal
Mike Michael Schiavo announced late Thursday that he will soon turn his humanitarian energy to the person who will need it most once Terri Schiavo dies: Pope John Paul II. ... (excerpt)

Ya think God is trying to tell us all something with the feeding tube for the Pope? Maybe it's not such a great idea to have State Sanctioned Murder by dehydration and starvation. Does this society think that God will look away from our evil forever because if so they are in for a very rude awakening.
To: NYer
I believe that God is calling on the pope to show the world that there can be great dignity in human suffering at the end of life.

"Pope John Paul II may have to return to the hospital to have a feeding tube inserted, an Italian news agency reported today. It stressed that no decision had been made." It is a very good thing this wonderful man does not live in Florida where the Fla courts rule. (and I am serious and not trying to be funny either).

Ya think God is trying to tell us all something with the feeding tube for the Pope? Yeah, that's what he's doing.
