Governor Bush Holds Supreme Executive Power Florida Constitution Holds The Key to Saving Terri Schiavos Life
To: Ricardo4CP
So "supreme executive power" translates into "king"? Florida has a king? All Hail King Jeb!

Supreme Executive Power does not mean power that exceeds the laws he is executing.

Supreme Executive Power does not mean power that exceeds the laws he is executing.
It does mean, however, that he can execute laws despite what the judiciary says.

I would love to see Jeb Bush rescue Terri Schiavo from her husband who is bent on murdering the only witness who could explain what occurred in 1990 that caused her collapse. She also could explain his attitude toward her when no one else was present. However, after hearing Jay Sekulow of ACLJ via radio and explaining how Jeb's hands are legally tied, I don't see how Terri can be rescued. I read this a.m. that ole Mikey wants an autopsy. I'm sure he'll send Greer a copy and they both can rejoice over murdering the one person with explanations.

I believe that Terri's civil rights are being violated; that she never expressed her desires if she were to be in this condition. I believe the Governor can trump everything on the basis that he believes her rights are being violated, ordering an investigation into the matter, and protecting her life.

LOL!!! I have been on my soapbox all morning about this type of posting and up pops another one.
Jeb doesn't have the power and when elected he took an oath to uphold the laws of the State of Florida. Guess that is too hard for some folks to understand!
Everyone needs to get behind the efforts to change these laws so this cannot happen again. Felos and his ilk from Scientology need stopped and it is up to the people of Florida to get to their Reps/Senators and get the law off the books that was snuck in by Felos and others.

Can the Florida Constitution raise someone from the dead?... Because such a miracle is about what is now necessary to keep Terri alive since her kidneys have shut down hours ago and the toxins are building up that will eventually cause her strong heart to fail. Felos and Greer have succeeded in killing Terri, now we are on a death watch rather than a crusade to save Terri from judicial commanded murder.

Only to the extent that those laws are written, and not beyond them.
Bush is not to blame because the law does not meet the immediate need. That is a fault of the law, not the man

Greer has the power to order life-support withdrawn. But he also ordered no oral feedings. That's where to make your pitch-- he's exceeded his authority by banning something which certainly doesn't extend to 'life-support' or 'extraordinary means.'
Unless, of course, we're all on life support and within the power of Judge Greer.

Unfortunately, there is a lot we do not know about, or what we have heard through speculation. I do not mean to imply that that your view are wrong, merely that perhaps Bush and his people have conducted such an investigation.
The fact that a dozen or more of us post essentially the same thoughts time and time again leads me to believe that anything we think, Jeb Bush and his staff have considered. The fact that they have not acted may then mean that they have concluded there is no further action they can take.

With such powerful constitutional mechanisms, why is Terris sentence of death still being executed? This is the burning question I've been asking myself for over a week now. Time to e-mail the Guv.

Constitution Party of Georgia State Chairman Ricardo Davis observed,
LOL........ Now I wonder what will happen? Lots of people accuse others of many things..... doesn't mean they are valid. There is a process in place in our system of government both at the federal, state and local levels and it is unfolding.
Just what laws of the State of FL has been broken when the recognized guardian has followed the process over the past 15 years?..... Maybe you don't like the guardians actions but so be it because it is his right under the laws of FL to do so.

I wish it was true, but unfortunately Greer seems to hold all the cards here. Have there been any current polls or articles written about what Floridians think about their Judge Greer? With the abundance of senior citizens in Florida, death by starvation has to be a worrisome topic among them. With the Greer and Felo's team in their state, I could envision clandestine operations just to purchase Ensure for their feeding tubes, at their local drug store. Don't laugh... sure it sounds ridiculous, but then again I never thought we would see a Day 12, of starving a woman to death by dehydration and starvation.
To: lilylangtree
I read this a.m. that ole Mikey wants an autopsy. I read that per Florida law Mikey MUST have an autopsy if he wants to cremate her. Everyone who is cremated in Florida MUST have an autopsy. Mikey's spin that he has chosen this is just so much bunk. Of course, he could just bury her but that would leave the possibility of exhumation out there for the rest of his lifetime. This time Mikey's back is against the wall and even the disabled Judge Greer cannot help him.
