However, Christ clearly taught that those who lived by the sword were likely to die or would die by it. The resulting cleansing of the world, as it were, is not up to Christian humans but up to God's angelic forces and supernatural power.

I understand the difference and agree with your entire post and thank you for sharing. I think you have misunderstood my posts. I am merely posing questions and seeking feedback. I mostly refrain from posting my opinion on these threads and try and discuss issues rather than make a judgement one way or the other. I am a practicing Christian and I am sure we have a lot in common.
