Kinda like the nutcase that used to come into a resturant I worked at...said the world was going to end on such-and-such a day....the day finally came and went...the day after he came in for coffee like nothing happened, because NOTHING did happen!

It reminds me of a nutcase religion a few of my family members got suckered into joining.
They were always predicting that the world was going to end on such-and-such a day.
When it didn't happen I would ask them, "What happened?"
The response was always the same: "Oh, we mis-calculated. It's really going to be on such-and-such a day."
Those predictions were forty years ago.
Their track record isn't so hot.
