I keep hoping that he'll move beyond his recent interest in politics, and shut up and sing, as Laura Ingraham says.
I dread the day that he decides to run for political office here in New Jersey. Of course, he couldn't be much worse than our Senator Lautenberg with his "chicken hawk" cartoon of the Vice President.

Bruce has always had political messages in his music. It is a shame though that he talks about it outside of song now though.

And since Springsteen's "voice" is like nails on a blackboard, that leaves "shut up" as the best alternative for him.
Most overrated "musician" of the 20th century, IMO.
