To: Former Military Chick

I agree with you. I posted before that the protestors were out of line! A quiet, candle vigil praying would have been fine...and a gracious compassion to let the other families have easy access. The protestors' behaviors in many cases was downright self centered.

I like many on Free Republic were pulled into this sad story and for me, I somehow did not even give a moment's notice to the other's at the hospice. I have to admit when I thought about that, it caused me great pain. This is only about Terri to the extent that the protesters out there are causing a display that frankly should have been done further away (imho).

Even when we have Presidents in Bethesda, the gaggle of media types are kept at a distance not only for the safety of our president but for the other patients who are desperately trying to recover.

I just feel bad that I had not considered them, like the young gal who lost her grandfather. Why cannot we not have compassion for Terri's fellow patients at the hospice?
