Thank you, thank you. I always enjoy a healthy debate. I have great concerns of all that is going on in Florida but those in the hospice are totally innocent victims and frankly I would be a bit ticked off if my life was soon to come to end and there was a circus in front of the building. I cannot take away that they believe in what they are doing, I just wonder if anyone has actually gave thought to the other's who are in the facility?

There is also an elementary school close to the hospice that has had to close down during this gathering. Her parents are asking everyone to please go home- they are refusing. The disrespect for others who are in the hospice, and their families shows narcissism beyond the pale. Do these people REALLY believe that holding up a sign is the best way to convince anyone to do different? I believe that they may have convinced themselves that standing there is doing some good, but I cannot imagine what it is. It reminds me of people who just want to be a part of something- even if it is a train-wreck.

If you were in a "persistent vegetative state" you wouldn't even be aware what was going on in front of the building, would you?

Listening to Boortz the past few days he's brought up this very issue. Not only about the other people that are in the hospice but about some of the local businesses that have practically been shut down as well. One that he mentioned was a small business, garage owner, that asked the protestors not to park in the space for his customers and was verbally attacked by the protestors because of it

Actually, I read the original story by the reporter, and it is mostly hype.

The words the reporter qouted coming from the little barefoot girl in pajamas are not the words of the little girl. They are the words of the director of the Hospice.

Let me ask you some questions, If I may.

Why weren't the parents and the granddaughter there by grandpa's side if he was on his deathbed?

Why were they at home, and waiting for a last minute, "he's going, going, going, .... gone." phone call?

The time to be there is before they are to the point where they recognize no one, have no idea you even came.

Also, the article states the girl was barefoot and in pajamas. The writer makes you think she ran all the way from home that way. What parent would allow a child to leave the house barefoot, and have them walk across a parking lot full of protestors, maybe some broken glass here and there?

It seems the parents waited until the very last minute, then want to blame it on the delay getting in. What if he died two minutes before they arrived at the Hospice?

This reporter found some little girl who had a sad story because her parents waited until the last minute, and tried to use it to manipulate the view of the public. Using the sadness of a little girl, exposing her to the public, and manufacturing comments for her.

If you like, I can qoute the 'qoute' from the little girl, so you can see these are not the words of a child.
