The specific Terri issue aside, this is the way politics should look - better than the non-political alternative in most of the rest of the world where they just kill one another. Which brings us back to the specific Terri issue.

I don't find anything funny about Terri being starved to death.

I don't either, Saundra. The drawing just indicates the intensity of the struggle that has gone on here and elsewhere. I can't let myself forget how to smile about other things.

"I don't find anything funny about Terri being starved to death."

The Republican Party called. They said to tell you, that because of a computer glitch, you may still get some mail asking you to donate, and to please ignore them. Also if you would be so kind as to give them to one of your neighbors.

Just thought I would pass it along. Saves them money that way.

Sounds to me like you piss and moan about stuff just to hear yourself piss and moan.

Spoken like the Compassionate Conservative you no doubt are.

I agree with you 100%. I've seen dems all over the TV saying this is going to hurt the repubs bad .. but that's because they are basing their opinion on totally skewed polls from CBS and ABC.

Pat Caddell exposed the poll questions - the questions were designed to get the result they got! But .. now the dems are gloating on the TV and seem blissfully unaware that the general public DOES NOT agree with them.

what makes a conservative up is the ability to separate emotions from logical and be rational in times of great need

Mike, that is just psycho babble nonsense! What makes a 'conservative' a 'conservative' is the things they believe in.

yeah it has just gotten to the point that some on the Schiavo threads are raving self parodies....

and what do you believe when you are hyper emotional and irrational like a Liberal when you are screaming about starting a war at a Pinellas Park hospice?

why do you think LIBERALS are called bleeding hearts? Because they lead with emotions!!!

Some people like to avoid problems because they think if they do so, it'll all just go away.

This case involving Terri Shiavo is a problem liberty-loving people can't afford to avoid.

I'm glad the fight's glaringly out in the open. Now we'll be able to see who'll take a stand for Life, who'll take a stand for death, and who'll straddle the fence. Call it an early voting guide.

I think the cartoon is "spot on" what has been going on here at FR since this case started--

and although there have been ridiculous moments that pretty much would look like the cartoon if we were actually in a room together, I agree with the posters that say that it isn't such a bad thing---

One of the worst things about the dems is they DO tend to march lock-step and adhere to strict "talking points" all of the time---and one of the best, yet frustrating things about the Reps is that they are more independent in their opinions, just like us Freepers---

Wouldn't FR be boring if we all agreed on everything, all of the time? I know I wouldn't be learning as much as I do if it were that way!

"But hey, let's look at a political cartoon that shows the truth, and try to start an argument over that, too, huh..."

Mission Accomplished!! :^)

Ok Chad, here's the skinny.... The over/under of who takes the higher road first between you and Saundra Duffy is 7 posts and the Vegas boys are betting against you to be the one to do it..... My take, F'em... I'm going with you Big Boy AND I'm parlaying it with the under...

Don't do me wrong, Chad!!

it is definitely a mirror, but at least it shows conservatives give a dang about someone's life, versus the morbidity of neomarxism wearing a deguise of democracy.

Mike, a word of advise... Don't quit your day job and apply for a position at the Heritage Foundation.

There you go again, Chad---everyone else is commenting on the cartoon in "general terms" and about how he/she feels about it, but you, you, have to get personal with another poster's opinion--

jeez, can't you behave for awhile?

Just heard on TV, Felos is saying that Michael Shiavo is insisting on an Autopsy for Terri...

I'm only posting this now so that people can beat the rush and come up with new conspiracies about that and be on the cutting edge ;0)
