I just wrote to the new head of the U.N. a nice little letter asking him to pass a resolution that declares Terri Shiavo to be a World Heritage Park.

Then, that will allow the United States military to go in and save her, since we enforce UN resolutions...

And your assertions have zero to do with my viewpoints/opinions here - other than to reinforce that folks will seize on any circumstantial evidence to support their view. None of your "assertions" do anything to prove MS's intentions, or anyone else's for that matter. It's just speculation - which thank goodness doesn't sway juries in the criminal system.

If the assertions are true, that would imply that the evidence of Terri being incurably PVS is not credible. So are you going to challenge any of the individual assertions?

Prominent academic neurologist? That's interesting because I've been unable to find a single research paper that he has authored, nor have I seen him listed on any boards or as a member of any prominent research organizations, but maybe that's just me.

There are some people who are capable of walking and talking even though they have very large portions of their brains missing. A CT scan is of limitted use for distinguishing between someone with zero cortex remaining and someone with a little.

I remember reading the story of a man who had almost all of his brain missing and medical science was just simply stunned that he could do many of the things he could. The story pointed out how little they still know.

And again - I'm not debating the decision by either party. Some folks agree, and some disagree. That's part of being a grownup.

It's none of our business, and it's not a political issue - well, it shouldn't have been, IMO.

What it IS is a shameful circus, both in FL and here on FR. And when it's all done, there will be a lot of hateful things said by folks that can't ever be taken back. All because folks don't agree with them 100 percent. Just like the rabid left - anyone who doesn't fall into lockstep with you is evil or stupid - or both. (disclaimer - that's not directed at you; you've been civil to me thus far. Perhaps you can explain what evidence there is that Terri is PVS that I should find credible, given that the assertions stated earlier would seem to suggest the methods of "diagnosis" used to be exceptionally shoddy.

Chad, don't make me laugh! You ripped off what some poster called 'ratfink' wrote in another forum regarding CAT scans and Dr Morin, and posted it here as if it was your words/research.
