During WWII American GIs had to march local Germans to newly liberated concentration camps and make them see the dead bodies, and the starving. Why? Because the Germans had, for so long, refused to recognize the horror in which many were complicit, either by action or inaction.

The words of Martin Niemoeller are echoing in the back of my mind every time I think of Terri Shiavo.

I have noticed that some people who thought it was okay to do this to Terri, when they learned the ugly truth, changed their minds. They have believed the media spin about Terri. This one lady at Church thought Terri had been in a coma for 15 years. When I told her the truth, she changed her mind. That's why the polls are skewed and that's why Jeb Bush is going to be in deep dark doo doo when the truth comes out. People will know he was the last to turn his back on Terri. Never forget.

That is Jeb Bush's legacy - He was the last to turn his back on a young healthy disabled woman and let her die from dehydration and starvation.
