How about just a unit devoted to criminals?????? Are they police now just a giant support group for people who can't figure out what the hell they are?

Do they patrol in specially-outfitted Subarus?

I've seen obvious homosexual men driving them, too. What made it obvious? Well, there was a rainbow flag sticker on the back, and the driver and the passenger were lip-locked during stops.

Weird. Good cars though. I used to own one. Got a lot of disappointed looks when they saw my beautiful wife and kids.

They are butch, feminine, black, white, straight, gay, campy, bitchy, bourgie and fully armed. They can see, really see, what other officers cannot or will not. If what they see sometimes is the darker side of gay life, it's because they aren't spending time at Target watching gay people buy towel racks. They're on the receiving end of 911. It just keeps getting better...

So...wait...lemme get this "straight".
In their never-ending, loud-mouthed, in-your-face attempt to be treated as EQUALS - they need their own police unit?
Proof positive that they're not interested in true equality, only special rights & priveleges.

What's with the Sabaru thing? I've never heard anything about Subaru = gay, hell now I have to be aware of what car I drive so I don't get rear ended at a stop light!

Multi-cultural sensitivity run amok. Oh yes, the DC police needs a Hemlock Society Liaison Unit too.

Read the article and you can see that they are a breeding ground for criminal activity. This is basically like a gang unit where they are devoting themselves to a specific group of criminals and while their activities are not criminal 24 hours a day, they are more likely to be committing crimes than other upscale neighborhoods being patrolled.

When Parson joined the D.C. police in 1994 as an openly gay officer, someone taped heterosexual pornography to his locker. He responded by taping gay porn photos on all 375 lockers in the 4th District squad house. LOL. I like this guy.

D.C. police department has a Latino Liaison Unit, an Asian Liaison Unit and a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Unit, ... the Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit
No redneck unit? What are we, chopped liver?

Having a special police unit to deal with "gay and lesbian" issues is nothing new. We used to call it the Vice Squad.

Coming soon to NBC, Law and Order: GLLU. "In the criminal justice system, there are bad guys, good guys, and then there are guys who just like guys. These are their stories."

No redneck unit? What are we, chopped liver? This is DC. Not many rednecks around here. You have to go into Virginia and Maryland for that.

Pay attention to the next few Subarus you see, maybe a pattern will emerge. ;^)

When I was young, me and my redneck buddies used to go down to Georgetown all the time. City people were so much fun.
