Poor child.
WOW, in her condidion, she might cause that beer to spill. Serious stuff in Wisconsin.
It's Jeb's fault!!! /sarcasm
(I think that will replace W's fault when something happens from now on :))
I don't know about Wisconsin, but here in Tennessee, she would get an automatic 30 day jail on top of the DUI sentence because there was someone under 15 in the car.
TN don't play at all with DUI.
I thought that Beaver Dam was a form of birth control.
She should have drove an SUV. Then headline would have been an SUV drove drunk...
Do you actually think this is the first time something like this has ever happened, even in this little burg? It's despicable for sure, but not new, we live in an information age that nothing that's agenda driven escapes our attention.
I would go farther to state, it probably happens even less than it used to because of America's shifting attitude about drinking & driving or is it driving & drinking.
Perhaps we should euthanize the child. Why would any child want to grow up with an alcoholic parent? Someone needs to speak up for that poor child and starve it to death.
I'm absolutely horrified to read this. I just don't understand how a person does this! She and the baby could have been killed!
"TN don't play at all with DUI."
I don't know why our laws aren't tougher. She's in a heap-o-trouble, especially if it's not her first offense, and I kind of doubt it is.
http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/safety/motorist/drunkdriving/offenses.htm
The chart I linked to shows fines and jail time and license suspension for up to FIVE DUIs. Why not just move Level 5 sentences up to the first offense and save us all a lot of pain?
LMAO!!
Something similar occurred recently in Albuquerque, and a child was killed. Makes you wonder about these "parents".

Remove her from the gene pool. Tie her tubes.
Woman Accused Of Drunken Driving With Newborn
Well, why was the newborn driving? I wouldn't think her feet could even reach the pedals!
Yes! Thank you, Rutles4Ever! Someone needs to protect its right to a slow and painful death at the hands family members who clearly love it.
Wow, I looked at that link.
in TN she would be facing a minimum 7 days jail for over twice the bac limit, minimum 350 dollars fine, alcohol safety school, supervised probation, revoked license for one year (eligible for work permit).
Add 30 days jail for a child in the car.
2nd offense, minimum 45 days jail, double fine, 2 years revoked (not eligible for work permit), supervised probation, mandatory 28 days in-house alcohol treatment.
3rd offense, minimum 120 days jail, $1000 fine, five year license revocation, supervised probation.
4th offense is felony DUI, then they *really* get tough.
Ah, a victimless crime. Where are the Libertarians to defend this woman from the drunk driving warriors?
Yeah. I expect her to be out toolin' around in her car again within months. Then she'll do it again, and again and again. Then she'll finally kill someone, and they'll throw the book at her.
The DUIs in our state seem to follow the same pattern. It's tragic.
My loser Ex-SIL is going back to jail for her 5th or 6th DUI and probabtion violations while she was on House Arrest this last time. She probably chewed her ankle bracelet off again, LOL! Good place for her. She needs to be locked up for the rest of her life. She's been through re-hab a dozen times. She's a hopeless case and the rest of us deserve protection from her.
